As the county grows, so does Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center with the renovation of our first floor pavilion into a 29-bed observation unit. This new unit will allow us to move patients through the emergency room in a more timely manner to help in reducing wait times. This project will provide us state-of-the-art care and improve patient outcomes in Howard County and beyond.
To support this initiative, The Kahlert Foundation has awarded JHHCMC a matching gift opportunity, with each donor gift matched dollar for dollar, up to $600,000.
"I hope to inspire others to join me in support of the hospital because it ensures everyone in the community has access to essential, quality care close to home. It’s an investment in the health and future of our neighbors and families,” shared Greg Kahlert, President, The Kahlert Foundation.
