As the county grows, so does Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center with the renovation of our first-floor pavilion into a 29-bed observation unit. This new unit will allow us to move patients through the emergency room in a timelier manner to help in reducing wait times. This project will provide us state-of-the-art care and improve patient outcomes in Howard County and beyond.
