At Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, healing goes beyond medicine.
Our Facility Dog Program brings specially trained dogs alongside our Child Life team to provide comfort, courage and calm when children need it most. Whether sitting quietly during a difficult diagnosis, offering a paw to hold before a procedure or celebrating a hard-won milestone, these remarkable dogs make such a difference in the lives of the patient and families we serve every day.
Your gift helps care for the dogs, fund their specialized training and support their handler to ensure they can continue to help thousands of patients each year. A gift to the Facility Dog Program is more than a donation, it’s an investment in evidence-based comfort that helps reduce anxiety, support coping during procedures and enhance the overall care experience for every child.
