The Johns Hopkins Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division has a long history of excellence in obstetric care. Dr. John Whitridge Williams became the first Professor of Obstetrics in 1899 and his legacy has lived on in the trainees that have come through the Johns Hopkins Gynecology and Obstetrics residency and Maternal-fetal Medicine fellowship programs for over 120 years. Our Maternal-fetal Medicine Division is world-renowned, known for strong clinical and basic science research, excellence in medical education and exceptional clinical services.
Critical maternal-fetal medicine research and the advancement of patient care outcomes would not be possible without the generous support of donors.
