In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Sylvia’s wishes, the family is requesting that gifts in memory of Sylvia be directed to support the Sylvia Eggleston Wehr Rare Book Fund and the Joseph C. Eggleston Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The Sylvia Eggleston Wehr Rare Book Fund supports student research using rare books, manuscripts, archives, and other Special Collections materials at the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries.
The Joseph C. Eggleston Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to medical students with financial needs in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
