Founded in 1927, the mission of the Women’s Board is to acquaint the public with the work and needs of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and to raise funds for patient care and scholarships. Annual grants to clinical departments of the hospital are funded through monies raised by the businesses and events of the Board and the generosity of many supporters.
