Engineering Innovation Programs   

  • Biomedical Engineering Innovation (BMEI) and Explore Engineering Innovation (EEI) 

Online Programs: A donation of $3,650 will provide tuition and lab fees for one talented high school student with demonstrated financial need to participate in either of our online programs - Biomedical Engineering Innovation or Explore Engineering Innovation – Online.

Explore Engineering Innovation (EEI) and Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE)

  • Commuting Programs: A donation of $4,100 will provide tuition and lunch fees for one talented high school student, with demonstrated financial need, to participate as a commuting student in Explore Engineering Innovation or Sustainable Energy Engineering.
  • Residential Programs: A donation of $10,200 will provide tuition and residential fees for one talented high school student, with demonstrated financial need, to participate as a residential student in Explore Engineering Innovation or Sustainable Energy Engineering.

Intro to Python Course

  •  Online program:  A donation of $1,200 will provide tuition for one talented high school student, with demonstrated financial need, to participate in Intro to Python, a one-credit online course. 

Whiting Internships in Science and Engineering:  A donation of $3,500 will provide a stipends for a semester-long lab-based internship for a Baltimore City Public Schools high school student.

Charm City STEM League (CCSL): A donation of $3,000 will support one City Schools’ Maryland Science Olympiad Team including mentors, transportation assistance, and supplies.   

Math Acceleration Tutoring with Hopkins (MATH) Program for grades 4 – 8: A donation of $2000 will provide one Baltimore City Public Schools’ student with small group math tutoring for the school year in grades 4 – 8.   

Johns Hopkins University Campus Visits for Baltimore City Public Schools’ Students (grades 3-8): A donation of $1,000 will sponsor transportation, lunch, and materials for a curriculum-aligned campus visit experience for one classroom of students.
