Thank you for your interest in donating to the Singer AFOs For All Fund
Ankle-Foot Orthotics (AFOs) can be expensive, often costing more than $1,000 per brace. Many people who would benefit from AFOs are unable to afford them either due to high insurance co-pays or, increasingly, due to not having insurance.
John and Karen Singer established an endowed fund in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins to provide financial assistance to patients who otherwise could not afford to obtain AFOs.
The Singers are spreading the word about this important effort and have set a goal of raising $250,000. To provide an incentive for others to donate, the Singer Family will match dollar-for-dollar the first $125,000 in donations to the Singer AFOs for All Fund.
